CLOSEST Airport Hotel to Portland Me??

Hi everyone, hopefully someone out there will help. I see a list of hotels that are near the portland airport - what I%26#39;m looking for is the closest hotel. Would anyone know? I can%26#39;t seem to find any info. on this - I keep getting ';airport hotels'; - but not who is the closest.

Any help would be so very much appreciated!! :)

Embassy Suites is right by the airport. It is listed as being 1/2 mile away, you can easily see the hotel when driving into or out of the airport.

You looking for closest to Portland (what part of Portland?) or closest to airport? The Hilton Garden Inn (airport) is probably just a little closer to the terminal than Embassy Suites, but they%26#39;re both right there. Without knowing which hotels you%26#39;re getting from your search, we can%26#39;t comment on which is closest. There are a bunch of %26#39;em out there, all within a half mile of each other.

Thanks for the info. re: Hilton Inn and Embassy - yah I see that there are many listed but wanted the closest closest to the actual airport itself. I get the feeling that these two must be. I wished there was a hotel IN the actual aiport like a few of them have that. Maybe because its small.

Both are close enough to be like at the far end of the parking lot.

Embassy Suites IS in the airport, only about a 2-3 minute walk away from the baggage claim end of the terminal building. The Hilton Garden Inn is ';on the grounds'; of the airport property, something like a 10-15 minute easy walk to the terminal, but they have shuttle bus service too. Either one should be fine for you. A couple of miles away is one that used to be The Doubletree, now The Clarion, I think.
