Surfing classes?

I am visiting portland maine and was wondering if anyone knows of any surfing classes? as well of any tattoo shops that are really good artists? much appreciated for any help.

I just Googled maine surfing lessons and it confirmed what I thought: most places are south of Portland - Kennebunk, Wells and Old Orchard Beach. None are far and have access to the best waves in Maine. If you try a similar search, I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll find one that suits you.

Higgins Beach is more or less the surf capital of southern Maine. Check out their live webcam!

You don%26#39;t mention when you are coming.....parking there is problematic in the summer.....but many of the %26#39;regulars%26#39; there welcome newcomers and you could pick up a private lesson.

Cess is right, Higgins Beach is the surfers beach , as I live here and see it daily. There are lessons given at Scarborough at times in the Summer.
